I’ve taken several classes with Fred, who I now consider my art mentor. He’s patient, talented, and knows how to teach. Fred taught me to draw with a system, not just random strokes of a pencil. When you leave each session being able to do something you couldn’t when you started, you know you have a great instructor (as my before and after drawing below shows!) Run – don’t walk – to take lessons through Urban Art Studio 101! The instructors, Fred and Sandra, are very compassionate and welcoming people. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I was a beginner wanting to engage in some kind of creative outlet, so no experience is necessary.
Both instructors have decades of experience and are extremely competent in a wide variety of art forms. They take on both children and adult students, as well as offer group classes and workshops. It is extremely affordable for what they offer, as they provide all the materials. I have taken multiple lessons now and will continue to do so, thank you Fred and Sandra!
