What We’re Looking For

Time: 60 minutes to complete one original work from scratch

Environment: Focused, alcohol-free Sober Social setting

Subject: Open to the artist’s choice — paint whatever inspires you (landscape, portrait, abstract, or original concept)

Artist Application Requirements
To apply, you must:

All applications are reviewed by Urban Art Studio 101. Submission does not guarantee selection, and selected artists will be contacted directly with further details.
We encourage all local artists who are passionate about live painting to apply — this is your chance to showcase your skill in a focused, professional environment.
Artist Commission

We are committed to supporting working artists. Participating artists receive a fair commission from the final silent auction sale of their artwork. Commission details are shared with selected artists prior to the event.

Right of Entry & Conduct: To maintain a respectful, focused environment, disruptive guests or anyone under the influence may be asked to leave.

Intellectual Property & Media: Artists retain full copyright to their work, style, and likeness. By participating, artists grant Urban Art Studio 101 permission to photograph and record the live painting process for promotional purposes.

Right of Entry & Conduct
To maintain a respectful, focused, and professional environment for artists and guests, Urban Art Studio 101 reserves the right to refuse entry or request removal of any individual whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe, including those under the influence of outside substances.
This is a Sober Social event.

Artists retain full copyright to their artwork, personal style, and likeness.
By participating in The Art Duel, artists grant Urban Art Studio 101 permission to photograph and record the live painting process and use this content for promotional and archival purposes (website, social media, and marketing materials).
Submission does not guarantee selection. This is an independent, sober, artist-led event.

Admission
Tickets are $20 per guest and available at the door. Space is limited, so arrive early to secure your seat.Silent Auction
Each duelist will create one original artwork during the event. All artworks will be available for sale through a silent auction held at the event. Guests can place bids on their favorite pieces.Artist Commission: Artists receive 65% of the final bid price. Urban Art Studio 101 retains 35% to support the event and studio operations.
